About

I am a 2011 graduate of University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. I worked in a busy dog/cat general practice in Illinois before moving to New England. I love being a veterinarian! Not just because of all the great pets I get to meet, but also because I get to meet their people!

FAQs

If you aren't working, what do you like to do?

My favorite thing is to hang out with my family, including my husband, three daughters, and a dog and a cat. I also like to run, bike, bake (especially anything with chocolate), read, and play piano.

What is the advantage of seeing a housecall veterinarian instead of a traditional veterinary practice?

There are so many advantages! Have you ever met a cat that likes going to the veterinarian? I don't think I have. Some owners complain that their cat will give them the silent treatment after trips to the vet office. If it is less stressful for the pet, it is less stressful for you!

Another advantage of having a veterinarian come to your home is that I get to see the animals in their normal, non stressed environment. In some cases, this can help me troubleshoot problems or observe things about the pet that I wouldn't be able to otherwise.

Your appointment hours are limited. What if none of your times work for me?

Because of family and other responsibilities, I don't have as many hours as I would like to devote to veterinary medicine. However, I am dedicated to my clients and patients and will do my best to be flexible and meet their needs.
